Every puzzle has its own unique link (the id in the address bar). Share the link to challenge a friend to the exact same phrase, or bookmark it to finish later.
How to Play
- The grid shows the shape of the phrase — how many words, and how long each is.
- Type the whole phrase and press Enter. Every word must be a real word.
- Use the colors to close in: green = right spot, gold = elsewhere in the same word, purple = in a different word, grey = not in the phrase.
- You have 6 guesses. Good luck!
Tips for Unlimited Mode
- Warm up here. Unlimited is the perfect practice ground before taking on the daily puzzle — experiment with different opening words and see what works.
- Race a friend. Copy the puzzle link and send it over — you'll both get the identical phrase, so the fastest solver wins.
- Chase a streak. Unlimited keeps its own win streak. How many phrases can you solve in a row?
- Learn the phrase patterns. The more you play, the faster you'll recognize common idiom shapes like "___ of the ___" or "a ___ in the ___".

Yes — play as many puzzles as you like, back to back, completely free.
What does the link with ?id= mean?
Each puzzle has a unique id. Anyone who opens the same link gets the same phrase — great for head-to-head challenges. Reloading the page keeps your progress on that puzzle.
Does Unlimited affect my daily streak?
No. Daily and Unlimited stats are completely separate, so you can practice freely without risking your daily record.
